If you want to get the new software 3.0 for your ipod touch you have to do this:

1) Download the software from this web site http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ (In the part that says ipod / ipod touch) choose the 3.0 / 7A341

2) After you have the file connect your ipod to the pc and open itunes.

3) In the Devices tab select your ipod, hold the Shift key and click where it says Restore, search the location of the software file that you downloaded before and click open.

4) After some moments you will have the new 3.0 in your ipod touch!
